So I just finished watching Episode 2. This episode seemed well rounded and focused on the other girls as well. It was good to see Zainab and how she handles working in Ghana (which I have heard can be an nightmare sometimes). I liked seeing Makena being paranoid about Stephan's phone and seeing Ngozi and her dilemma with her driver. A sad thing for me was Nana Yaa and Fidel. I really felt for Fidel, his ego must have been hurt and bruised. I think she could have approached the situation differently.
I enjoyed this episode, I hope to see Sade's character branch to what actually sent her to Ghana. Her role in this episode was all about sex.
I agree. We need to see more about Sade. I know there is more to her than what were are currently seeing. The Wikipedia page for the show now has Character information about the girls and Im certain we will be learning more soon.
I agree three lol. I love Sade but its like she's always about sex...and its funny and I know her character gives comic relief but dang! there has to be more substance to a girl as dynamic as her!
Sade is my favorite character....she's so fun! I would love to see her character develop a bit more. I totally agree! I must say that Nana Yaa is my second favorite. She is absolutely stunning. I think that she can be a little bit too unrealistic when it comes to the whole dating thing. The situation between her and Fidel was totally rude! She has a lot of demands that are quite petty.
I love this show. It's a solid perspective from a raw "Pan-African" experience. These ladies are total badasses and their stories validate the Black women's will to be heard and seen as a complete human, sexual urges and all. I love all the characters and I'm so psyched (urban dictionary translation) about this movement.
